Azari - Lorán - Violin & Cello Duo
A popular and classic combination, this violin and cello
duo adds elegance and formality to even the most simple of
occasions. This partnership of talent adds
the perfect ambiance for weddings and other special
events.
Professional Background
Victoria Lorán is the violinist of
Azari Lorán String Duo, and Perfect with Popp Strolling Duo. She is
the owner and business manager of Lorán Strings which has been providing
classical music services to the Front Range area since 1995. Victoria
studied violin performance at the University of Northern Colorado where
she recieved her Bachelor of Arts degree. She has played with many
of the area groups to include the Denver Chamber Orchestra, Cheyenne
Symphony and the Greeley Philharmonic where she served as a principal
violinist.
Katherine Azari, cellist of Azari Lorán
String Duo, received her doctorate in music from the University of
Northern Colorado and has her master’s degree in cello performance from
the University of Wyoming. She was a member of the Greeley
Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra for twenty seasons and now devotes time
to private studio teaching, composing, solo recitals, and performing
with Lorán Strings.
